The second half our trip in the NW consisted of the Hires team of 5 going to the Oregon coast. We had never been just us on a vacation before. It was so much fun. I had a hard time choosing pictures to highlight (there were too many). We stayed a block off the beach in Cannon Beach so there was plenty of sand time, we had a pool at our condos so there was much afternoon swimming, we went to Tillamook and took a tour & had some cheese and ice cream, we made it out to Haystack Rock at low tide, we travelled up to Seaside to ride the carousel and buy cheap souvenirs. We stayed up late and got up late. We made it to the park, to dinner out and dinner in. Clam chowder and fish 'n chips. The girls went along with pretty much anything and there was little complaining (well, except the wind on the beach was pretty miserable). We ended our trip with the Rose Gardens in Portland. It was an amazing time of bonding and de-stressing. Even when I had to work, T was amazing with entertaining the girls so I could have quiet. I was sad to miss friends while we were so close but we will be there at Christmas and I am excited to be able to celebrate my BDay with friends this year! So here's to having more vacations with just the Hires team

John was out that way last summer and he went to Tillamook too. Looks like Tracy got the double scoop of ice cream too. :) John couldn't believe how big it was. Glad to see you guys had a great time. The pictures are just beautiful. I want to go now.
