So, 5 years ago, We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Isn't that the best way to live life sometimes? Cuz if we really new what adventures were to come, they might scare us off from the best times of our lives! Kiki was our surprise conception. We either got flack, concern, reassurance or lots of advice from everyone and I mean EVERYONE when we found out we were prego when Ellie was 4 months old! 13 months apart between 1st and 2nd baby is not ideal but we made it work them and it definitely works now! Kiki continues to surprise us with her heart of spontaneity, love for song & dance at every hour of the day, her vivid imagination and her drive to be the most uniquely dressed girl in the room. She loves deeply, feels richly and can talk anyone into a corner when she decides its her turn to share.
So, here's to you, Miss Kiki Beth. We love you with all our hearts and can't fathom life without your color and vibrance! Happy Birthday - I will always be your mommy and you will always be my sweetie.

I was just watching a video of when you were in L.A. for my graduation and had a good laugh remembering that you found out when you got back to Colorado that you were pregnant again. I don't remember having much advice or concern for you, I remember laughing a lot though. Guess I'm just that kind of friend ;)

First thing when I opened your page and saw the picture of you pregnant I thought, "WHAT!!???". I didn't know any of this! Took a sec to realize we were reminiscing about Kiki. Whew! I think my hearts back to normal now... =)
D - I think you might have to jumpstart my heart if we found out we were having another - no no no! : > ) Just loving the 3 God gave us.
