Happy Rebirth-Day to Me!
This last weekend was my 28th Rebirth-day. I was 4 years old when I went to a huge Easter contada/play put on by my church. Along with 1,200 people, I sat in awe of seeing Jesus (he looked like all the Bible pictures I had ever seen anyway) for the first time - interacting with kids my age, raising men of a tomb and teaching us all(while a choir sang the appropriate hymns and songs at the right time). My heart then was changed as the church went completely dark and all that was heard was BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG. Then a single light came on to illuminate Jesus on the cross. I knew at that moment that it was all for me. He was hanging on the cross for me. I remember being sad and excited all at the same time. I don't remember too much more except that I said a prayer which began my spiritual journey with Christ as my Savior. My life has been sealed for eternity. My sins have been forgiven. I am seen as clean, I am unconditionally loved, I am a child of the Almighty. Although Easter Day is over, I love that Easter means just that much more to me.

Amen...your girls are adorable!
Happy Day! I love that you remember & know the day. That's great! (Love the new look, too!)
It's a real bummer that (at least in our area) you can't even find an Easter play to see! I'm so glad that you you listened to the Lord's voice at such a young age, it's what we pray for our girls, huh?
There is a play at the Church of the Nazarene in Bend each year. I assume they had it this year...we should have gone Kacey.
How cool that you remember so much of your special day. Sometimes I forget how much Zac will remember when he grows up. I can't wait to listen to him recount the day he accepted Christ:)
Happy Rebirth Day!
The great thing about memories are that when we revisit them over and over they stay with us longer. Zac will remember when his life was changed because his mom will show him the excitement of his new life!
I pray everyday that the words on my girl's hearts will remain a permanent fixture on their lives as the Holy Spirit grows their child-like faith. Come Lord Jesus!
What a vivid memory, Christy! Clearly it really impacted you. And praise God for that!!!
